Redness + Rosacea
Facial redness is a common concern that can appear for many different reasons. While occasional flushing is normal, persistent redness may indicate an underlying skin condition such as rosacea. Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the skin that often affects the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead. It can present in several forms, including visible blood vessels (telangiectasia), persistent redness, papules and pustules that resemble acne, or thickened skin changes in more advanced stages.
Other skin conditions can also contribute to redness, such as acne, eczema, dermatitis, or sensitivities caused by a weakened skin barrier. Each condition requires a tailored approach, as triggers, symptoms, and treatment strategies can vary greatly.
At Tiffany Matthewson Dermal Aesthetics, we aim to identify the root cause of your redness and create a treatment plan that helps strengthen, calm, and restore balance to your skin.

LED Therapy
This science backed medical grade device targets the powerhouse of cells, the mitochondria. Energising them and creating energy rich compounds that drives fundamental cell functions. LED therapy has been proven to promote wound healing in the skin and reduce inflammation in shorter time frames compared to regular healing. Making it perfect addition to any treatment or skin wound. Also creating adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production which leads to healthy skin cells and the production of collagen and elastin. Utilising multiple different wavelengths, this treatment can be customised to target the specific layer of the skin to address your specific concern.
Laser Rejuvenation
A non-ablative laser that targets the deeper layers of tissue to promote younger and healthier looking skin.
The wavelengths penetrate down to the dermis and stimulate collagen synthesis. This occurs by bulk heating the tissue, where it generates coagulation of the collagen and the process of wound healing begins. During this process, the surface layer of the skin (epidermis) stays fully intact, resulting in minimal to no downtime.
New collagen synthesis occurs and the skin tightens and firms. Increasing the skins health and leaving it plump and glowing.

Laser Vein Removal
The laser targets the blood converting it into thermal energy causing microvascular damage within the blood vessel. Vessel coagulation occurs where the vessel walls shrink and tighten. Collagen strands shrink and tightening during this process resulting in the shut down and removal of the treated vein.
